Have you ever wondered what the people behind Paperblanks get up to every day? Did you ever look at a Paperblanks design and wonder, “Hmm, how would this look on my desk?” Well, in this new exclusive blog series, we are diving headfirst into uncovering what our staff have on their desks.
This week we jump over to the Operations department, where we spoke with Manas, our Supply Chain Analyst. Having joined Paperblanks over 18 months ago, Manas has really solidified his place within the Operations team and the company!
When we asked what his day-to-day looks like, he noted that his main priority is improving the efficiency of our supply chain, making sure every process is accounted for and running smoothly so our Paperblanks products land safely in your hands on time.

To do this, he ensures that each warehouse has adequate inventory levels and that stock is replenished whenever needed, all while keeping external business factors in mind. Each day he analyzes data related to shipments and sales, identifying current trends and forecasting any potential issues that might arise. On the more technological side of his role, he also works on building files and dashboards that help keep everyone at Paperblanks informed and support easier decision-making.
To help him through a busy day of planning and forecasting, Manas keeps two trusted Paperblanks products by his side. First is his 2026 12-month planner, which helps him organize his daily schedule. He uses it to track when items are expected to arrive at our international warehouses, take notes during meetings, and jot down quick reminders. His current design is Michelangelo, Handwriting in ultra size, which he finds perfect for his daily routine. As he explains, “The verso interior is perfect because it has the dates on one side and space for notes on the other, which works really well for how I plan my days.”
Alongside his planner, Manas also uses his Golden Age of Prosperity journal. This is where he writes down more general thoughts and reminders throughout the day, especially for longer-term information. Its lined pages give him plenty of space to write, and as he notes, “It also happens to be one of my favourite designs.”
Some other essentials on Manas’s desk include his trusty calculator, always close at hand when numbers and spreadsheets need tackling. He also likes to keep snacks nearby, joking that “supply chains run better when the analyst is well fed!” And of course, there’s some hand cream to help battle the constant Dublin cold.

Some of the most important items on his desk are the more sentimental ones. Manas has a few figurines from Naruto, his favourite anime, which he says have become his moral support during the workday. He also keeps several figurines from the Galette des Rois we shared in the office. Somehow, he managed to find the figurine in his slice of dessert more than once. He’s still not quite sure how it kept happening, but perhaps it’s just because he’s a lucky guy.
From tracking transport plans to lucky desk companions, we thank Manas for giving us a great insight into his Paperblanks Daily Desk. Tune in next time to see what the People of Paperblanks get up to every day.
