Paperblanks invites you to wish upon a star and believe that dreams really can come true with our Carlo Collodi, Pinocchio design.

We are delighted to introduce the second release in our Fairy Tale Collection – Carlo Collodi, Pinocchio! Our Spring 2026 design celebrates the beloved classic tale of an animated marionette whose greatest wish is to become a real boy

Reproduced here is a manuscript page from Collodi’s original The Adventures of Pinocchio, courtesy of the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Firenze in Florence, Italy. First published as a complete book in 1883, the novel follows the mischievous adventures of Pinocchio and his creator and father figure, the humble woodcarver Geppetto.

Since its publication, The Adventures of Pinocchio has become one of the most cherished works of children’s literature, with its central character evolving into a universal icon and enduring metaphor for the human condition. It is the world’s third most translated book and the first Italian children’s work to achieve international fame. Among its many adaptations, the 1940 Disney film remains one of the studio’s most celebrated classics.

Following the warm reception of The Brothers Grimm, Frog Prince, we knew we wanted to create another design that captured the same sense of childlike wonder our community embraced so wholeheartedly. Pinocchio’s timeless story felt like the perfect choice. A particularly special detail of this design is the illustration layered over the handwritten manuscript page, created in-house by our talented graphic artists; showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship that defines every Paperblanks release.

We are delighted to add Carlo Collodi’s legendary story to our Spring 2026 collection and hope it inspires you to dream boldly and remember that even the impossible can become possible.

Carlo Collodi, Pinocchio is available as a hardcover journal, bookmark, canvas bag, and pencil case.
