Have you ever wondered what the people behind Paperblanks get up to every day? Did you ever look at a Paperblanks design and wonder, “Hmm, how would this look on my desk?” Well, in this new exclusive blog series, we are diving headfirst into uncovering what our staff have on their desks.
This week we are heading over to the world of Operations here at Paperblanks, where we spoke to our amazing Team Leader Operations EMEA, Ludovica. Her role is no easy task, and she has been on quite a journey since joining the Paperblanks team in July 2023. Her key daily responsibilities include managing logistics and orders, in her own words, “making sure everything runs smoothly for our customers across the globe.” This year, Ludovica was promoted to a leadership role within the Operations department, proving herself to be a true asset to both her team and Paperblanks as a whole.
When I asked Ludovica about her day-to-day, she explained, “every day is different.” Ensuring operations run smoothly isn’t as simple as it sounds. She works closely with our warehouses and the wider Operations teams to ensure all orders are processed efficiently and delivered on time. It’s a busy job, but one she loves, especially because of how collaborative it is across the team.
As far as Paperblanks essential go, Ludovica has a stable item she simply couldn’t live without! She adores her Porto 12-month planner, and the ultra format is the perfect size. It is her personal companion throughout the workday, helping her plan projects, track priority tasks, and jot down new ideas or key meeting notes. Between its beautiful design and practical functionality, it’s an indispensable part of her day.

Some non-Paperblanks essentials that Ludovica keeps close during a busy day in Operations includes her coffee mug, a must being Italian! Her favorite part of her desk, however, is her personal mementos: postcards and photos with her Dublin office colleagues, constantly reminding her of the amazing friends she has made and the meaningful connections behind the work. As she says, “Each one has a memory attached, and together they make my desk feel a little more like home.”
