Have you ever wondered what the people behind Paperblanks get up to every day? Did you ever look at a Paperblanks design and wonder, “Hmm, how would this look on my desk?” Well, in this new exclusive blog series, we are diving headfirst into uncovering what our staff have on their desks.

This week we are heading over to the Operations department in the Dublin office, where we spoke to Clarisse, the other half of the Sales Operations Executive team for the French market. We asked Clarisse to describe her typical day as she works alongside her partner in crime, Inès.

Clarisse joined Paperblanks in July 2024, and she says the time has flown since becoming part of the Operations team. When asked what her daily routine looks like, she explains that she has it down to a tee. Each morning begins with checking emails and reviewing orders that she needs to send to our warehouses. She then writes out her to-do list to set herself up for the day!

Another important part of her routine is checking in with Inès. As they work so closely together, they share which tasks they are each tackling that day. Clarisse mentioned that every day looks a little different, which is one of the reasons why she takes the time to plan everything out.

To stay on top of things, Clarisse relies on her Paperblanks Humming Dragon 12-month planner. She says it is the perfect office stationery for tracking her tasks, organizing her day, and staying focused. Our Paperblanks daily planners are a great way to stay productive for the busy day ahead.

Clarisse also uses her Paperblanks canvas bag, which she brings to the office every morning with her lunch. Stylish and practical, our tote bags are a staple in her daily routine!

Finally, Clarisse’s Paperblanks cahier is always at hand. She uses it to keep notes and instructions on how to tackle tasks for the French market, making it the perfect flexible tool for jotting things down throughout the day.

I asked Clarisse about some other non-Paperblanks items that she couldn’t live without. She listed a few essentials that she keeps on her desk, such as her blue light glasses to protect her eyes, her headphones, her French “Petit Marseillais” chapstick, a bottle of water, and her highlighters for marking and crossing off tasks.

Clarisse mentioned one sentimental item that isn’t on her desk but is still essential – her scarf! She recounted how her friend gifted it to her before she left France, because they always tease her about being cold.

From perfect planners to sentimental scarves, we thank Clarisse for giving us insight into her Paperblanks Daily Desk essentials. Tune in next time, when we discover what Daily Desk essentials the rest of the Paperblanks team can’t live without.
