Have you ever wondered what the people behind Paperblanks get up to every day? Did you ever look at a Paperblanks design and wonder, “Hmm, how would this look on my desk?” Well, in this new exclusive blog series, we are diving headfirst into uncovering what our staff have on their desks.
This week we headed back over to the Ecommerce team, where we spoke Aniruddha, or as he is more often referred to, Ani! He is our Ecommerce Specialist and Digital Marketing Executive, spending most of his time managing our Amazon Vendor Central accounts and running our digital advertising across different marketing platforms.
After being at Paperblanks for 11 months, Ani has slotted in perfectly to the Ecommerce team, firmly establishing his place in the digital world of Paperblanks. When asked what his typical day looks like, he says that his routine remains fairly consistent. Most days are spent analyzing sales and advertising data, finding new ways to boost and improve our Amazon campaigns. He also keeps a close eye on inventory and is quick to fix any catalogue or content issues that might arise.
Ani notes that one of his favourite parts of his role is working closely with our international team, which stretches from North America to Europe, to ensure everything runs smoothly across all markets.
To keep track of busy days of calculating and analyzing, Ani always keeps his Firebird Blank Poems unlined hardcover journal on hand. He says he uses it as an everyday essential for jotting down quick ideas, to-do lists, meeting notes, and agendas. Ani says, “It keeps me organized and helps me stay creative.”
Some of Ani’s non-Paperblanks must-haves include his working glasses, especially with long hours spent in front of a screen. He also uses his wireless power banks featuring a Paperblanks logo to keep him connected all day.
Other items include a Rubik’s cube, water bottle, box of nuts, and peppermints, which keep him refreshed during the day. Lastly, a bottle of Zara perfume is a constant on his desk.
