Gratitude is scientifically proven to improve your physical and mental health – with both increased self-esteem and greater clarity being among the benefits.
There are many good reasons to begin a gratitude journal, but not knowing where to start shouldn’t keep you from trying.
Getting started with a new habit can often be the hardest part, but all you may need is a little nudge or word of encouragement that can help you along. In this case, the right word can be all it takes to reap the rewards of an “attitude of gratitude”.
Along with the right creative prompts, setting the correct environment is also a worthwhile step in allowing you to focus on being thankful. Take some time to pick and focus on the prompts that speak to you whilst you put pen to paper. The power of focusing on a single thought can bring a plethora of energy and inspiration – you will be scribbling down your thanks before you know it.
