Quote:
“People travel to wonder at the height of mountains, at the huge waves of the sea, at the long courses of rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motion of the stars; and they pass by themselves without wondering.”-St. Augustine

What would one find in the pages of your Paperblanks journal?
You’ll find everything from drawings, reflective thoughts, personal entries, and quotations to prayers, goals, business ideas, travel notes and recipes.

What sets Paperblanks apart from other journals you’ve used?
It’s so intricately made with timeless designs and a wonderful feel to my hands. I love the vintage colors of Paperblanks too and the variation of covers, colors, closures, and designs. Each journal is beautiful to look at and to touch.

Do you have any personal philosophies you’ve come to develop about writing, art, creation or culture?
There is life when you create things that inspire others. The most effective art displays an honest heart.

Do you have any specific themes that you continually refer back to in your work?
Travelogues, inspirational thoughts, prayers, quotations, and marking down specific events in my life are the themes that I work with most consistently.

No matter what type of creative art you make, what or who first inspired you to make it an essential part of your life?
My first inspiration is God, the Maker of all inspirations from music to landscapes, nature, and other masterpieces, which can never be duplicated.  I am also inspired by my parents, both of whom have beautiful hearts.

Do you have any advice for other creative people?

Always have an open heart to explore the beauty inside of you and around you. Match it with a humble heart to see the grace of God at work in everything. You’ll never run out of ideas to write and create.
