As part of our 30th anniversary celebrations, we recently asked our Instagram followers what their favourite Paperblanks cover design of all time is. And wow, we were blown away by the responses! From some of our earliest designs (Book of Kells) to a title we’ve only released this month (Van Gogh’s Irises), we felt that nearly every one of our 30 years was remembered. So thank you for that trip down memory lane!

When it came to the most popular choices, though, more recent titles received the most love. We are so glad our current selection is resonating with you, and we can’t wait to share what we are working on next.

For now, here are the top 30 results from that Instagram poll. How many do you have in your collection?

    • We’re sorry to hear that! If you’d like to let us know where you’re from we’ll do our best to suggest some retail options for you 🙂

  1. The Book of Kells series came out before I started using Paperblanks. Is there anywhere I could see the images used in the series. I’ve only seen two of them. Thank you so much.

    • Hi Crystal, great question! We don’t currently have an online archive of our oldest designs, but that is something we’re working on for our anniversary year!

For now, we took a look online and Book Depository does list the full Book of Kells series, so you can see all the designs here.

    • We’ll make a note of your feedback in case we’re looking to bring back more of our older designs 🙂

  2. My favourite ones are Balzac and Saint-Exupery. I collect Ultra-Lined items and i have both in my collection. The “problem” is that since 4-5 years i am looking them for using but i couldn’t found. Thanks a lot.

    • Ultra lined is one of our most popular formats. We would be happy to help you find them in a store near you if you can’t find new options!

  3. Ive only just started my paperblanks collection and they are truely stunning. My favourite so far of the ones I own is The queens Binding Restoration (midi lined). I would absolutely LOVE to see if you come out with Nocturnelle in midi Hardback with a clasp (please!!!) and the Nova stella too!.
Im in the process of choosing my next journal but Im having the hardest time deciding and actually locating them unfortunately.
    They are all so beautiful

    • Thank you so much, Paige! We are happy to welcome you to the Paperblanks community.

Nocturnelle actually began as a hardcover with a clasp, so while we don’t currently have plans to bring it back in that format, you may get lucky finding it at your local retailer. We will definitely make a note of your interest in that and Nova Stella, though 🙂
